BASIC FIREARM SAFETY RULES

BEFORE INSTALLING ANY LOCK PLEASE READ THESE BASIC AND VERY IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS !!!!

ALWAYS and immediately open the action and visually check the chamber, receiver and magazine to insure the firearm is unloaded before handling any firearm or installing a lock.

ALWAYS assume the firearm is loaded.

NEVER install a lock on a loaded firearm.

ALWAYS store the ammunition in a separate secure and locked container in a different location than the firearm.

ALWAYS have the muzzle or barrel pointed in a safe direction.

NEVER point your firearm at anything you do not intend to shoot.

NEVER mix Alcohol and firearms.

NEVER load your firearm unless you are ready to shoot.

NEVER rely solely on the gun's safety.

NEVER handle a gun carelessly.

NEVER touch the trigger unless you intend to shoot.

ALWAYS have the gun's safety "on" until you are ready to fire.

ALWAYS read and adhere to the gun manufacturers owners manual, instructions and warnings.

REMEMBER a gun safe offers you the most secure protection.

REMEMBER a safety lock is only one part of firearm safety. Only you can control and insure that accidents do not occur with your firearm. Enrolling in hunting or shooting safety courses is highly recommended. If you have any questions or concerns about the proper installation of any safety lock or other safety issues, contact your local firearm dealer.

ALWAYS store your firearm unloaded, locked and in safe location that cannot be accessed by children.

Warning: Using a gun lock or attempting to install a gun lock on a loaded Firearm may result in the firearm discharging which may cause serious injury or death. Completely unload the firearm per the firearm manufacturers instructions prior to installing any gun lock.
