Pro-Lok works very hard to design and provide quality firearm safety devices. Equally important is providing our customers with the very best customer service available. We are proud of the reputation that we have built. Pro-Lok has worked in conjunction with the California Department of Justice and the ASTM in helping set standards for firearm safety. We have also worked with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, major firearm manufacturers, and non-profit organizations in providing firearm safety products. All of our firearm safety products are in compliance with the California Department of Justice Standards.

WARNING: Gun locks will not fit all firearms. Gun locks may not be appropriate to be used in all homes or under all conditions. It is important to read and follow the detailed instructions, warnings and inspection procedures included with each gun lock. These gun locks are only one part of safe firearm safety and storage. These gun locks are not a substitute for safe firearm handling or storage. Always store the firearm in an inaccessible location from children. Always store your firearm unloaded. Always store your ammunition in a separate locked container, in a different location than your firearm. Depending on your individual circumstances you should consider all storage options available to you. Given time, tools and determination any gun lock or safety device can be defeated. Safes are a significantly more secure means of safe firearm storage and highly recommended.

A secure safe is the best and safest means of storage. Next to a safe, a properly installed cable lock is usually the next best choice because the cable can usually be installed to ensure that the firearm is unloaded. NEVER ATTEMPT TO INSTALL ANY LOCK ON A LOADED FIREARM! PRO-LOK cable locks and PRO-LOK trigger locks are designed to fit most firearms. Movable pins are supplied with our trigger locks to help the user customize the fit of the lock to various firearms. Because there is such a wide variety of firearms and accessories, we cannot guarantee that our locks will fit or be suitable for all firearms, applications, situations and environments.

The only way to determine if our locks will properly fit your specific firearm is to CAREFULLY read all instructions supplied with the lock and install or inspect the lock on or with your firearm. We highly recommend that you bring your firearm to a licensed firearm dealer that is familiar with the proper installation of safety locks to determine which lock is the best fit for your firearm whether that safety device be our product or not.
